SV – Michael Jackson Moonwalks Through the Mushroom Kingdom

All the media coverage over Michael Jackson and his death has died simmered down some. So, I think it’s okay to mention him now without you all rolling your eyes. If you’re familiar with the original Super Mario Bros. and Michael Jackson’s Moonwalker then you’re in for a treat. Check MJ out as he shows the Mushroom Kingdom who’s bad!

This definitely puts a smile on my face. This was very well made and you have to appreciate the details, like during the second stage when the mushroom falls on the Goombas and they enlarge. MJ was cool in Moonwalker, but here, he’s untouchable. Not only can he shatter walls of bricks with a single kick, but with that same kick he can add blocks for his moonwalking pleasure and even change his destination as he so inclines. And just when you think MJ slips up and plummets to his death he smoothly moonwalks his way back up and keeps on keeping on. King Koopa doesn’t stand a chance. Michael Jackson FTW.

Awesome game. Mario meets MJ. Good tribute to one of the best entertainers who ever lived.
